About the Study Medication

What is the study medication?

The study medication is called SGR-1505. It is taken by mouth (orally) in tablet form. SGR-1505 is called a study medication because it has not been approved for public use. All new medicines must go through several rounds of clinical research and be approved by regulatory agencies before they are available to be prescribed by doctors.

At the beginning of every study Cycle, you will be given bottles containing tablets of SGR-1505. Each study Cycle is 21 days long (you are given extra tablets in case you are late for your next visit).

Will I receive the study medication?

All participants will receive SGR-1505.

What is an “investigational medicine?”

Investigational means the study medication is not approved by regulatory authorities like the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and it can only be used in clinical research studies like SGR-1505-101.
